As much as I hate leaving Walking the Lethe there, that’s where the story will have to rest for now as I have no more pages to post. Thank you all for reading this story and your support. I feel very guilty about ending this story, but I still feel it’s the right thing to do for both myself and my family. I’ve learned so much writing WtL that I want the time to apply those lessons to other projects.
I’d also like to extend a special thanks to Adwarr, who has been a wonderful artist on this project.
Our basic situation is unchanged. I have a new job that is keeping a roof over our head and we are loving living in the Bay Area. Amanda is currently looking for a full time position. Once she finds one we’ll probably go through another move to cut down on the commute if financially possible. (Rents around here are eye poppingly high.)
I am writing, (not as much as I’d like) but I am making progress on a novel; a light-hearted fantasy story entitled “Freelance Familiars” featuring a four dimensional universe, unionized talking animals, werewolves, wizards, and a guy who changes into a cougar, but has to act like a dog. It should be a fun book.
Once that book is done I’ll start working on a novelization of Walking the Lethe.
I will return to comics. I love the medium and working with artists to illustrate stories is a thrill like no other. We just need some time to get established in our new home.
Once again thank you for reading. If you want updates on my projects, please fill in the form below and send us your email.
