AAaaand we’re live!
Welcome to the start of Walking the Lethe! Its been a long road to this point, about a year and a half from when WtL was first brainstormed to now. Why so long? Because I’ve done the hobby webcomic thing once before and it is really hard to change something from a hobby into a professional product. I want to do this the right way.
Walking the Lethe is a professional product, or as close as I can get it. I’m doing everything in my power to avoid things such as hiatuses, skipped comics or even filler comics. Walking the Lethe will be updating here at least twice a week until its completion. To guard against the whims of fate, we’re starting out with a three month buffer, which I am working to expand even further.
I’ve written the comic like a traditional black and white comic book with 24 pages per issue for ease of organization and to give me a solid format to work around. I may experiment with this format at a later date. The art for issue 1 and issue 2 (Now showing in the supporter section) has been done by my friend Sam Ireland, a concept artist living in Australia. He’s rendered the world of Walking the Lethe with a dark, almost smokey texture, reminding me of some of my favorite Scotches. I hope you enjoy the story to the very last drop.
